Why I started a Podcast

The Podcast Concept

"UX Guide to the Galaxy" is designed to be both informative and relatable. We cover a wide range of topics, from user research and design thinking to usability testing and user interface design. But what sets us apart is our commitment to sharing real stories from our own experiences. We talk about projects that succeeded and those that didn't, the challenges we've faced, and the lessons we've learned along the way.

Each episode features a different theme, and we often invite guests who are also UX professionals. This diversity of voices helps us create a well-rounded perspective on the field. We aim to provide insights that are practical, actionable, and applicable to UX designers at all stages of their careers.

Creating a Community

One of our primary goals with this podcast is to build a community. UX can sometimes feel isolating, especially when you're working on complex projects or dealing with difficult stakeholders. We wanted to create a space where UX professionals could connect, share their stories, and learn from each other.

We encourage our listeners to reach out to us with their questions, ideas, and feedback. This interaction helps us stay connected to the broader UX community and ensures that we're addressing topics that matter to our audience.

The Realistic Perspective

As I mentioned earlier, we wanted to offer a realistic perspective on UX. This means acknowledging that the journey is rarely straightforward. There are setbacks, tough clients, and design challenges that can be frustrating. By sharing our experiences, we hope to reassure other UX designers that they're not alone in their struggles.

We also want to emphasize that UX is a constantly evolving field. What worked a year ago might not work today, and that's okay. Adaptability is key, and we're here to help our listeners navigate these changes with confidence.
